Xpeng has revealed the technical details of its upcoming G6 EREV SUV, having completed the required application process. This model is equipped with a 55.8 kWh battery, offering an impressive range of 325 kilometers when driven solely on electricity. The system gains additional support from a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine crafted by Dong’an.
The rear axle boasts a powerful 218 kW electric motor, propelling the SUV to a maximum speed of 202 km/h. While its design mirrors that of the BEV counterpart, it maintains the same 4,771 mm length and distinctive fastback roofline. The SUV’s exterior retains signature features, including the inclined front, recessed door handles, and a continuous LED light strip.
Underlining Xpeng’s Kunpeng Super Electric System strategy, this innovative model aims to achieve a total range surpassing 1,400 kilometers, thanks to its integration of a gasoline engine. Although the exact launch date remains undisclosed, enthusiasts can anticipate its unveiling before year’s end.
