Agent Mode Extends to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
By March 2026, Agent Mode, which debuted for premium users in September, will become available for all Microsoft 365 subscribers in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. This feature empowers users to generate sophisticated spreadsheets and documents with just one command. In Excel and Word, users can select between Anthropic and OpenAI reasoning models for their tasks. Moreover, Agent Mode in PowerPoint promises to upgrade current presentations by implementing professional brand templates.
Additionally, a new Copilot Business plan is set to launch next month, offering a cost-effective solution at $21 monthly for small enterprises with less than 300 users.
