Galaxy S26 Ultra: Leading with 60W Charging
Renowned for pioneering advancements, Samsung is reportedly elevating its wired charging technology to 60W with the Galaxy S26 Ultra. This leap significantly surpasses the 45W charging speed of its predecessor, the S25 Ultra, allowing for faster charging times without altering the battery’s capacity. Many Samsung phones currently support 25W fast charging, with some reaching 45W. However, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is set to break this barrier, achieving an impressive 60W mark.
The increase in charging speed requires specific software features. For instance, Samsung devices capable of 25W charging offer an option to enable Super Fast Charging. Nevertheless, if Super Fast Charging 3.0 is designed for the higher 60W threshold, older models without compatible hardware will not benefit, making the S26 Ultra the primary candidate for this upgrade.
